ABOUT

Alison’s Relocations Company Profile and History

Established in 1998 by Alison McDaniel, Alison’s Relocations became a leader in household goods, office and industrial moving services in Alaska. Our primary focus is household goods transportation between all contiguous states for private, commercial and government shippers and local moving services within the entire state of Alaska where our corporate offices are located.

Providing services to more than 1,400 households per year we have grown to be an industry leader respected by our competitors and trusted by our customers; most of our business comes from word of mouth and referrals.

A long distance move is considered one of the top ten most stressful life experiences full of emotion ranging from excitement to fear, depression and anxiety. Our entire staff is trained to recognize these emotions and work very hard to provide courteous, thorough and professional service to all our customers. It is a challenging business from a company’s point view because of complicated logistics and a sensitive customer base. Alison’s has maintained an A+ rating with the BBB in spite of these challenges.

Alison’s provides moving services to and from all points in Alaska including the road system, rail belt, ferry system and the bush utilizing air carriers to all points in the lower 48 via ocean carrier through the Port of Seattle and the Alaska Highway through Great Falls, MT. In addition to our primary customer base, we also have corporate clients, government and municipal contracts and are military approved. Alison’s has maintained an A average with military quality control inspections and maintains a spot clean, secured warehouse.

Our combined industry management experience and employee/mover certification program assures high quality and cost effective moving services.
